Changes to my study programme..

Hello everyone! As you may already know from previous blogs, I am a forestry engineering student, I have been studying for three incredible and exhausting years now. In this time I have realized some things that I love about my career and some things that I don't like so much.

First of all, my faculty is located in a very big and beautiful campus called Antumapu. It's full of green and wonderful trees, so I am glad to go there every week. But the infrastructure is not so good, because the classrooms are very uncomfortable and I think they don't promote learning, besides we need more study rooms, there are only two, and also comfortable places to sit and relax.

Secondly, most of the teachers are amazing in their field, some of them are great teachers and inspire me. But some of them make me wonder why the hell they teach. It's as if their teaching methodology is to make us suffer. So, I think some of them could improve their teaching skills to make our learning more fun and exciting. Additionally I think we should have less exams and do most of the work in class hours. We should also have more activities taking advantage of our beautiful campus or some nearby places, for take data and make learning more fun and successful with practical activities, because being sit in the classroom all year is too boring.

Thirdly and last, the curriculum should be revised because the academic overload is too heavy and there are some classes wich are really innecesary, so I would eliminate them and there some classes that need to have a more modern approach.

In conclusion, I feel very lucky to be a university student, but if some things could be changed I think it would be much cooler and learning could be much easier.
